WHAT IS YESHIVA WEEK

The Jewish Community’s
Favorite Travel Season

Yeshiva Week — also called Midwinter Break — is the school recess that falls in late January through early February, aligned with the New York City and New Jersey yeshiva calendar. It has grown into the single largest Jewish family travel season, with dedicated kosher programs running at resorts across the Caribbean, Mexico, and beyond. Dates vary by school: most programs run between January 15 and February 5 each year. Book early — the best properties sell out months in advance.

PLANNING YOUR TRIP

What to Know Before You Book

Book 3–6 months in advance. The best rooms at top properties sell out by September for the following January. Travel Supreme secures inventory early for our clients.

Program vs. independent travel. Some families prefer organized Yeshiva Week programs (Glatt Kosher meals, entertainment, minyan on site). Others prefer private villa stays with arranged catering. We plan both.

Kashrut levels vary by program. We match clients to programs that meet their hashgacha requirements — Cholov Yisroel, Yoshon, and Pas Yisroel available at select programs on request.

Children’s programming runs simultaneously at all major program properties — babysitting, teen lounges, and organized day activities are included.
