Bora Bora is famous for overwater bungalows, but families do best in a beachfront villa or suite with a pool, steps from the sand.
Each of these three names its family villas or suites, and two add something for children on the motu.
The two- and three-bedroom beachfront villas with pools are the family choice here, facing Mount Otemanu across the lagoon. There is the Kids For All Seasons club for ages 5 to 12, and snorkelling sessions with a marine biologist.
The beachfront and garden villas have private pools and suit families, and the Three-Bedroom Royal Estate, the largest villa in the Pacific, comes with a dedicated butler for the whole stay. No villa is smaller than 1,550 square feet, and every one has St. Regis Butler service.
Families take the beachfront villas or Lagoon View Suites, each with a private pool, with Island Host Service for every villa. The chefs pack a picnic for a day on Motu Tapu, the resort’s own islet, and there is an infinity pool.
