Best months December to April; March and April for the regattas; avoid September when many hotels closeFly into SBH Gustaf III Airport (Remy de Haenen), St. Jean; connections via SXM Sint Maarten

St. Barths is a French overseas collectivity of about 25 square km with a 646 m runway that only small certified aircraft can use, so most guests connect through Sint Maarten by 10-minute hop or ferry. Swedish from 1784 to 1878, the island keeps Gustavia as its harbour capital, with its luxury hotels spread across St. Jean, Flamands, Grand Cul-de-Sac and Toiny.
