Thirty-three pristine beaches, a strict low-density policy, no cruise ships, no casinos. For kosher families, Anguilla’s real advantage is its villa market — staffed estates with full kitchens and private pools, with provisioning resources five miles away in St. Martin. Fly into St. Maarten, and it’s a 20-minute ferry.

Anguilla’s icon — white Moorish villas on one of the island’s most beautiful beaches, with private villa options with kitchens.

Shabbos in Anguilla is a villa Shabbos — private, unhurried, planned before you leave home. There’s no local kosher establishment, so provisions come with you or from St. Martin, and candle-lighting, transfers, and the villa setup are settled in advance. Start planningYes — especially for families comfortable self-catering in a private villa. Anguilla’s extraordinary villa market makes it one of the best Caribbean destinations for privacy, beach quality, and luxury.
No dedicated kosher establishments on-island. We plan provisions in advance — sourced from St. Martin and brought from home — and villas with full kitchens carry the week.
No commercial direct service from major US hubs. Fly into St. Maarten (about 3.5 hours from New York), then a 20-minute ferry or water taxi. Private charters fly direct seasonally.
Yes — the private villa setting is excellent for it. Provisions planning, religious scheduling, and the right property for your family’s size. Book 6–9 months ahead for holiday periods.
Anguilla has no kosher establishment and no program infrastructure — a Shabbos here is a villa Shabbos, private and unhurried. Families who need a daily minyan choose the Bahamas or a Punta Cana program week instead, and we will say so before you book.
Provisions come with you or from St. Martin — the French side, five miles away, has the developed provisioning — and we plan the sourcing before you arrive. A staffed villa with a full kitchen carries the week; there is nothing to walk to, and nothing you need to.
Private villa estates are our primary recommendation: staffed, full kitchens, private pools and beach access, from four to twenty-plus bedrooms. Cap Juluca on Maundays Bay offers private villa options with kitchens; Four Seasons Anguilla on Barnes Bay has residences and villas with real kitchens. Both are kosher-friendly, which means self-catering with the property briefed by us before you land.
Yes — this is where Anguilla is strongest. Estate villas sleeping twelve to twenty put an extended family under one roof with one kitchen, the island runs on UTC-4 year-round for comfortable candle-lighting, and there are no crowds, cruise ships or casinos. Book six to nine months ahead for holiday periods.
Right if you want the Caribbean’s best beaches, total privacy and self-catering luxury, and you are comfortable with the journey — St. Maarten, then a 20-minute ferry. Not the right choice if you want on-property kosher dining, an eruv and a shul, which is the Bahamas, or an organized program, which is Punta Cana. If you want the villa week but closer to Miami, Turks & Caicos is a 90-minute direct flight.
Yes. Yeshiva Week — also called midwinter vacation, midwinter break or simply winter break — falls in late January, and Anguilla’s staffed villa estates suit it well: full kitchens, four to twenty bedrooms, and a whole family under one roof. Tell us your school’s dates and we plan around them.

Yes. Before you book we check the details that matter for Shabbos in Anguilla: key cards and door locks, motion-sensor lights, automatic doors, elevators and stairs, and the distance to anywhere you need to walk. Whatever can be arranged with the property ahead of time, we arrange.
