Most of the trip happens on Providenciales: Grace Bay, the 12-mile stretch of white sand; Long Bay, shallow and wave-free; and the quiet western tip at Northwest Point. Offshore sit COMO’s Parrot Cay, a short boat crossing north, and South Caicos, ringed by barrier reef.

It suits a family that wants space: villas to six bedrooms, residences with their own pools, kids’ clubs on calm water. It suits a couple just as well, at Amanyara or on Parrot Cay. We book seven resorts here, and we know which room works for which group.

Getting there

One airport, short transfers.

Everyone flies into Providenciales International (PLS), and American flies nonstop from Miami. Wymara is about a mile from the airport, Grace Bay Club a 15-minute drive and The Shore Club about six miles.

Parrot Cay is a short crossing on the resort’s boat, and Sailrock a short inter-island flight from Providenciales. We arrange the flights and the private transfer, and time the boat to your arrival.
