Private islands · If you like Amanyara
Quiet, private, villa-first.

Amanyara is Aman’s Turks & Caicos resort: 56 pavilions and villas folded into the quiet western tip of Providenciales, beside the wall-diving sites of Northwest Point.
If that is what you like, look for the same things elsewhere: a private island or peninsula, villas set apart from each other, and water worth the trip. These four have them.

Fifty-five villas set in jungle on one of the largest islands in the Maldives, inside the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, with no news and no shoes. For a family, book a two-bedroom Water Reserve with its own slide into the lagoon, or an island villa, which run from one-bedroom suites to a seven-bedroom residence; The Den is one of the largest children’s playgrounds in South Asia.

Four hundred private acres on Virgin Gorda’s eastern peninsula, reached only by boat or helicopter, with 32 properties set apart from each other, many with private pools and grounds. Book a villa with its own pool for the family; Casino Royale has six suites and a bunk room, and the Beach Club has three pools and all-day dining.

Forty-six villas on a private island in the Noonu Atoll, reached by the Maison’s own eight-seat seaplane in about 40 minutes, with a dedicated Majordome looking after each villa. Families book a two-bedroom Island or Water Villa, or the four-bedroom Cheval Blanc Randheli Private Island; the resort runs a children’s programme and sandbank barbecues.

COMO’s own island north of Providenciales: a short boat crossing, a mile of empty white sand and 72 rooms with the COMO Shambhala wellness ethos running through everything. Book a Beach House or higher category, which carries a larger resort credit through us; we time the boat crossing to your flights.
