Is the rate really the same as booking direct?
Yes. When you book Banyan Tree Mayakoba through Travel Supreme, the nightly rate is identical to the resort’s own best available rate. The difference is what attaches to your reservation: an upgrade when available, daily breakfast for two per bedroom, and a resort credit — all confirmed in writing through the Virtuoso program.
What credit comes with my booking?
A $100 USD equivalent Resort Credit, used during your stay — with the possibility of a higher credit for higher villa categories. Not combinable and not valid on the room rate.
Is breakfast included?
Yes — daily buffet breakfast for up to two guests per bedroom, served in the restaurant.
Can guests play golf at Mayakoba?
Yes — the El Camaleón course, host of Mexico’s PGA TOUR event, sits inside the Mayakoba reserve a few minutes from the villas. We can arrange tee times with your booking.
How does booking through Travel Supreme work?
Tell us your dates. We confirm availability and the rate directly with the resort, attach your Virtuoso benefits in writing, and stay your single point of contact before and during the stay — at no fee to you.
When is the best time of year to go?
December through April brings the driest, coolest weather on the Riviera Maya. Summer is hotter and more humid with softer rates; Atlantic hurricane season runs June through November, so travel insurance is sensible for those months.
