How you pay

You pay the hotel directly.

For most hotel stays your card goes to the hotel, not to us. The reservation is under your name, under the hotel’s own policy, with the hotel’s confirmation number.

The hotel can also send you its own payment link. For flights and dinner reservations we may need a card on file.

Hotels pay their advisor partners a commission out of the rate they already charge. Your price is the hotel’s own rate, the same one you’d see booking direct.

The extras are how the hotel thanks the advisors who send it guests.

Questions, answered.

Does booking through Virtuoso cost more?

No. You pay the hotel’s own rate. The hotel pays our commission, so the amenities and our planning cost you nothing extra.

Do I pay you or the hotel?

For most hotel stays, you pay the hotel directly with your own card, under the hotel’s cancellation policy. We can also have the hotel send you its own payment link.

Do I still get hotel loyalty points?

Often yes. Many brands still credit points on advisor bookings. Tell us your membership number and we’ll add it to the booking.

Is the upgrade guaranteed?

No. Upgrades depend on what the hotel has available on your arrival day. Breakfast and the credit are confirmed in advance.

Can you book flights too?

Yes. We can arrange flights and transfers as part of the same trip, so you have one person handling everything.

What about Four Seasons?

Four Seasons runs its own advisor program, Four Seasons Preferred Partner. We’re members, so Four Seasons stays booked through us come with their own set of extras.
