Jade Mountain

A room with no fourth wall.

Each sanctuary is open to the view, most with an infinity pool reached by its own bridge. Rooms are deliberately free of technology, and dinner is Jade Cuisine at the residents-only Jade Mountain Club.

It is built for two people who want to switch off. If you want screens in the room or space for children, Sugar Beach fits better.

An 18th-century sugar plantation sweeping down to the beach. Every room has Piton or sea views, a four-poster bed and butler service; villas add plunge pools.

The Rainforest Spa and a PADI dive centre are on site. Residences up to four bedrooms make it the family choice.

Both are on St. Lucia’s southwest coast near Soufrière. Hewanorra International (UVF) is the closest airport for each; Sugar Beach is about 45 minutes away by road. Jade Mountain also has its own helicopter pad.

Sugar Beach. It has One, Two and Four Bedroom Residences, villas with plunge pools and bungalows on the sand. Jade Mountain is designed for couples.

Which is better for couples?

Jade Mountain. Its 29 open-walled sanctuaries sit high above the Anse Chastanet estate, 24 with a private infinity pool, and the rooms have no technology to distract you.

How do the two differ?

Jade Mountain is a hillside retreat with views down to two beaches. Sugar Beach sits on the beach itself, on over 100 acres in the Val des Pitons, about three miles outside Soufrière.

Is the rate the same as booking direct?

Yes. Through us, the nightly rate at Jade Mountain and at Sugar Beach is identical to each hotel’s own best available rate. The extras are added to your reservation and confirmed in writing at booking.

Do I pay you or the hotel?

You pay the hotel directly, at the hotel’s own rate. There is no fee from us.
