Los Cabos · If you like Las Ventanas
Five Cabo resorts in the same spirit.

Las Ventanas al Paraíso is Rosewood’s resort on the Los Cabos corridor, between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.
If that is the Cabo you like, look for the same three things elsewhere: a cove you can actually swim in, suites and villas with their own pools, and room for the whole family to spread out. These five have them.

Thirty-nine acres on the white sand of Santa Maria Bay, with walk-in swimming and snorkeling from the beach, three pools and the Paintbox children’s program, so the family side of Cabo is built in. Book a Marea two-bedroom suite with a private pool, a three-bedroom Ocean View Residence, or Casa Twin Dolphin with four bedrooms and Casa Cardon with five, where breakfast is included for every guest and roundtrip private transfers come with the booking.

A protected cove with one of the few swimmable beaches in Los Cabos, coral reefs a short way out, and floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces in an open Baja style. Families book a Sky Villa of three to five bedrooms, including the Four Bedroom Signature Sky Villa; couples take an Oceanfront Room of 760 to 885 square feet with a terrace over the sea, about 15 miles from the airport.

One of a very small number of Ritz-Carlton Reserves worldwide: all suites, most with private pools, on the Sea of Cortez side where the water is calm enough to swim from the beach. Book a suite with its own pool, or a Villa or Residence for a bigger group; complimentary roundtrip private transfers from San José del Cabo come with the booking.

The 1956 estate where Los Cabos began: whitewashed haciendas above one of the corridor’s few genuinely swimmable coves, with Jack Nicklaus golf next door. Ask for a Casita Suite or one of the Villas for the most private footprint on the estate; daily full breakfast is served in the restaurant for two per bedroom.

Auberge’s cliffside resort on Punta Ballena, minutes from Cabo San Lucas, with private coves, ocean-edge dining and terraces built for watching the Sea of Cortez turn gold. Ninety-seven rooms keep it intimate; for a family or two couples, book one of the Villas, Casonas or Haciendas, which carry a larger resort credit when booked through us.

A swimmable cove, a private pool, bedrooms for everyone. Send us your dates and who’s coming and we’ll match the suite or villa.
Check my datesMontage Los Cabos and Chileno Bay. Montage has Marea two-bedroom suites, three-bedroom Residences and the four- and five-bedroom Casas, plus the Paintbox children’s program and walk-in snorkeling. Chileno Bay has Sky Villas from three to five bedrooms on a protected, swimmable cove.
Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve: all suites, most with private pools, on the swimmable Sea of Cortez side. Esperanza’s cliffside terraces on Punta Ballena and Palmilla’s Casita Suites are the other two we’d name.
Montage, Chileno Bay, Zadún and Palmilla each sit on a swimmable cove or the calm Sea of Cortez side of Los Cabos. Esperanza sits on cliffs above two private coves at Punta Ballena.
