Named clubs. Real family suites.
Every resort says it welcomes children. These seven run a named kids’ club on site, and we list the ages where the hotel gives them.
Each one also sells a suite, residence or villa big enough for the family, so the parents get an evening and the children get their own day.
Suites run from one to four bedrooms, on 15 oceanfront acres on Wailea Beach with swimming and snorkelling off the sand. The Kids For All Seasons programme takes children from age five, and the adults have their own infinity pool.
Families take the Estate wing, with residences up to five bedrooms, some at beach level with pools. The complimentary Kids Town club, for ages 5 to 12, runs on 11 acres of Grace Bay, with kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing and snorkelling.
The One, Two and Three Bedroom Ocean Front suites come in a Deluxe or a + Study version, on shallow, sandy Long Bay Beach. The Kids Club is complimentary, and the resort has several pools and water activities.
The ground-floor three-bedroom villa runs to 4,603 square feet with a private pool and kitchen, and sleeps eight. Residents use the Fairmont Mayakoba kids’ club for ages five to eleven, along with the resort’s spa, restaurants and golf.
The Marea suites, in one and two bedrooms, have private pools, and the three-bedroom Residences go bigger. Paintbox is Montage’s kids’ club, with three pools and walk-in snorkeling on Santa Maria Bay.
The KidsOnly club takes ages 4 to 11, and the family pool at Arabian Court has a kids’ slide. Temperature-controlled pools, a water sports centre and tennis sit on a kilometre of private Jumeirah Beach.
A Za’abeel Room with two queen beds takes two adults and two children. The KidsOnly club sits in The Garden on level four, next to a family pool, in the middle of the city.
