Los Cabos · New Year’s week
Dec 26 to Jan 2. Swimmable coves, villas.

New Year’s week runs December 26, 2026 to January 2, 2027, inside Los Cabos’ long dry season of warm days and cool nights. Families often take the two weeks together and spend the first days of January by the water.
Pick a resort on a swimmable cove, then the room: a multi-bedroom residence, a Sky Villa or a Casa with breakfast for everyone. These five have them.

For a big family, the three-bedroom Coastal View and Ocean View Residences, or the Casas: Casa Twin Dolphin with four bedrooms and Casa Cardon with five, with breakfast included for every guest and roundtrip private transfers. Walk-in snorkeling from the beach, three pools and the Paintbox children’s program.

Sky Villas run from three to five bedrooms, including the Four Bedroom Signature Sky Villa, on a protected cove with one of the few swimmable beaches in Los Cabos. Two-bedroom villas and larger carry a $250 credit in total, and the airport is about 15 miles away.

The 1956 estate where Los Cabos began, with whitewashed haciendas above one of the corridor’s few genuinely swimmable coves and Jack Nicklaus golf next door. Families take the Casita Suites and Villas; every booking carries a $150 resort credit and full breakfast for two per bedroom.

All suites, most with private pools, on the Sea of Cortez side where the water is calm enough to swim from the beach. Suites carry $300 in resort credit, Villas and Residences $650, and roundtrip private airport transfers are included.
